Externally controlling winamp

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to make a flash program that incorporates the winamp visualizer. I have a few questions:

1. I'm wondering if there is any way to externally send a command from flash to Winamp to start playing the first song in the playlist. If this is not possible, is there a way to make Winamp start playing the playlist upon startup?

2. I also need to find a way to switch to the visualizer tab through flash or to have the visualizer instantly visible upon startup.

Basically, I need it to automate in a way so that when it starts up, it starts playing the playlist and activates the visualizer. Any help would be IMMENSELY appreciated. Thanks a ton.

OK - got number one done. Just have it loading the playlist on startup as opposed to winamp itself. That second one though is probably going to get me. Could REALLY use some help with it. Any ideas?
