Winamp 5.541 Vista x64

Hello,
I`m using Winamp for a looong long time..

but since I have Vista x64, realtek alc883 sound with latest drivers (R2.05), winamp is not working like it used to on Windows XP..

i have k-lite pack codec installed and video files always worked.. but with winamp nop :-?? and the biggest problem is that on my rear speakers the sound is not perfect.. don`t know why but it is just happening with winamp..

i reinstalled it, i fixed reg.. using direct x10 with latest updates and windows is too up2date

what should I do ?

you can't do anything.

its a problem with your drivers(for the audio) and windows vista(for the video...possibly audio aswell).

winamp and video's run awful on vista with aero because winamp doesn't support EVR(enhanced video renderer), this is a renderer only supported by windows vista and its the only renderer vista supports for hardware acceleration because microsoft are douchbags.

Microsoft don't give very good examples of how to get it to work with other programs hence why there arn't any other programs that use it either apart from windows media player and powerdvd I think.
