you should update when winamp restarts or shoot a window at me saying to restart, don't make me download a file from your website each update.

been a long long long time winamp user
best media player!!

Well, the latest version of Winamp does need to be downloaded in order to update it. Winamp has no automatic downloader either.

But that's all right, just point your web-browser to:
http://www.winamp.com/player
