Virus that reduces volume slide bar?
Anyone seen a virus out there that can reduce the volume slider bar when a particular mp3 starts playing? This has happened to me a few times, but can't put a finger on exactly when it's happening.
TIA |

I am not aware of any virus that fucks with Winamp's volume...
Winamp keeps turning my volume up/down: http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?threadid=154677 http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?threadid=32675 http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?threadid=73354 | Brought to you by ^V ^C | The one... the original... no seriously! |

I had the same problem after I upgraded my Windows XP version from service pack 2 to service pack 3. Before upgrading, the volume slider would stay in the same position as when I closed it from the time before. After upgrading, the slider would go to 0 or not more than 10% on each song. It got really annoying.
Thanks Sawg very much. I used the second link, and that seemed to have fixed the problem. Now hopefully the upgrade didn't do any other damage. |
