Winamp crashing when opened,
Whenever I open up WinAmp, it comes up with an error message, which I think is to do with the file it always opens on. Is there a way to make WinAmp reset or open up with no song waiting to be played?

Delete both winamp.m3u and winamp.m3u8 in
C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Winamp (for Win2k/XP) C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Winamp (for Vista) If no luck, please provide more info (read this!). |

Winamp crashign when opened
Same issue, Winamp closes when opened. Previous solution ineffective.
No plugins Inspiron I1 720 Intel Core Duo CPU 2.40ghz 4.00GB Ram SigmaTel hidef audio codec NVidia Geforce 8400M GS Directx 9.0 Winamp 5.541 Full "Winamp has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." The error message appears about 2 seconds after the main window loads. Tried switching skins, updating version, clean installation, and the previously suggested deletion. Any suggestions? |
