I am having difficulty in converting a Midi file into a Wav file.

I am using v2.5/Lite (x86) - Aug 26 1999.

From the Right Click menu I have selected
Options->Preferences and then Output in the left hand panel. I then selected Nullsoft Disk Writer plug-in v1.0 (x86) and then selected Configure and set the output directory.

Then I selected the Midi file that I want to record into Wav file. I then pressed play and Winamp played the Midi file but did not create a Wav file.

The On-Line help seems to say this is all I need to do, but it is not working.

Can anyone tell me if I have missed doing something, am doing something wrong, or if there is a problem with converting Midi to Wav files?

If there is a problem with try to convert Midi to Wav files in this way, does anyone know of a way to do it?

Cheers
