Hi,

I recently upgraded Winamp from 2.73 to 2.74. During the install, near the end, when the installer attempts to access the internet for registration or some other reason, the Windows 2000 reports a fatal error and that the program must be shut down. I was able to then uninstall, and reinstall telling it not to access the internet and everything was fine, BUT I can not use streaming audio or anything (including the Winamp browser) that makes use of the internet. I have access to the internet through a TCP/IP LAN and Winamp 2.73 has worked great (even with streaming audio!) does anyone have any ideas of how to fix this problem??

Thanks
