Hi , new to all this and would be grateful for help in how to change my library from the "my music" folder on my laptop to a folder on a separate dismountable hard drive. I need to do this as i have no more space left on my laptop.

Thanks for the reply J_Darnley Forum King.
At the risk of sounding stupid, what does your reply mean please. I have looked in my preferences folder and under media library I have found a file called Windows database Import/Export V2 (ml_impex_dll) I have tried to configure said plug in but I am informed that "this plug in has no configuration implemented" Any further advice? regards AP |

You wanted to know how to move your library. You can use ml_org to do it for you or you can move it then use ml_impex to correct the paths (export, edit, import).
ml_impex has no configuration. You export and import libraries by pressing the big library button and then choosing the action. ml_org does have a configuration so do configure it before using it.
