Winamp suddenly won't play most of my music files
Hi,
Winamp used to play all of my music (ALL MP3's), but now it doesn't. By used to, I mean like 4 hours ago. When I click a file, it will just skip to a file that will. If I add one of the music files (most of them) to the playlist alone and try to play it, nothing happens, no numbers even appear showing the length of the song or time passing. I have done nothing to the files or the computer either. I have not moved anything. But just in case I removed all missing files and re-added them, but nothing changed. I have also tried changing skins. I also re-downloaded and reinstalled winamp. The music plays fine in iTunes though, which I find weird. Thanks |

No one knows a solution to my problem? Winamp is the best media player I've ever had, I want to get it working T_T

Never mind. I uninstalled Winamp, and deleted the Winamp folder from the program files. Then I reinstalled it and put the skins and stuff I had before back in and it works fine now.

I was going to say did you maybe accidently move the folder of the files but looks like you got it taken care of. Sounds like some little bug, maybe something with your pc.
At least it's working now :-) Happy Winamping! ~Mike S. Online Lead Generation Blog |
