Error Code 88780078

I have Winamp v5.541. Earlier versions worked fine before I installed the latest version. Now, when I click on a song title or Shoutcast URL I get error message 88780078 "Nullsoft Direct Sound Output v 2.47 error..Device not found. Select another device configuration."
I'd really appreciate any help that may be offered.
I also have iTunes installed on my PC (Windows XP with Zone Alarm Pro and Eset Nod 32 AV).

it's basiccally telling you that the driver directsound output is using is incorrect to change which soundcard it uses you can configure it in
options/preferences/output/nullsoft directsound output/configure/
check to make sure the sound card you are using is the one it says(if there are more than one)
other than that you may have a sound card that the current version may not recognize correctly if that is the case you will need to use nullsoft waveout plugin which will map the music through windows sound mapper
