Functionality, or How best to?

Hello, there's a few things I'm trying to do in Winamp 5.541 (with ML iPod) and I'm trying to figure out how best to accomplish them. Or in the case it's not in Winamp's base functionality what plugins would be best to accomplish them with.

I'd like to be able to create a playlist, let's call it "New", with files located in a directory other than the Local Media directory. After listening to and rating these new tracks I'd like to be able to move all the files in the playlist to Local Media, and move or at least copy the physical files to the Local Media directory. All while maintaining their ratings etc. And also making sure that it changes where Winamp looks for those files to the proper Local Media directory. If that makes any sense.

I'd also like to figure out how to copy files from my iPod to my HD and have them maintain their directory structure. When I've tried up until now it's made a mess of them, particularly by separating artists by name variations. ie Danger Doom/Ghostface vs. just Danger Doom, which are just two different tracks on the same album.

Also, is there any way to create custom volume settings for individual tracks as you can with iTunes? Settings that will stay with a file when played on the iPod? And is there any way to control bass similarly?

And lastly, I'd like to find the best way to retag and rename within Winamp, without losing ratings and play counts. Is the only way to accompish this with ml_org? I'll give it a try but some people's experiences with it scare me. I'd hate to wipe out my collection.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.
