weird playback

so i recently downloaded the new tfot album off of their website, and i listened to it for a few hours, then after a while i turned it back on and its like im only getting one side of the recording, but the other songs in my library are messed up too, i put the songs on a flash drive and put on my friends computer and it worked fine, so its not the files
what is it?
