Playlist Editor
I was a faithful user of Musicmatch before it was bought out by Yahoo, and the one thing I loved about it was the playlist features. I have more than 1800 songs, so the program gave me the ability to select the song in the library and click a dot next to the song so I may listen to it before selecting it to be placed into the playlist.
When I select a song in Winamp and select it to play so I can hear it before putting it into my playlist, all 1800 songs in my library suddenly gets entered into the playlist. This is very frustrating because now I have to pick through the songs as before and now mark each song I want to keep with "Q". This is bad because once I have selected 100 songs that I want to stay in my playlist, I crop them so the unused songs will be removed from the playlist. Instead, I end up with one song. PLEASE tell me there is a way to control this. I am a baby fresh old fart trying to listen to my music like I used to. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Sorry for the long winded post. |

To play a track it must be in the playlist (as it is a list of things to be played).
To stop it from adding all the tracks: Preferences > Media Library > Library Options tab Uncheck: Play all tiems on double click in playlists Uncheck: Play search results on double click in mediav iews | Brought to you by ^V ^C | The one... the original... no seriously! |
