Moving a MP3 Medialibrary

Hello everyone, this is my first message, so please pardon my non-technical choice of words.

I'd like some advice regarding the following.

I have Winamp version 5.41, and I'd like to learn how to move a 3000 mp3-file Medialibrary with dozens of playlists from one HD to another.
Where does the M.L. reside?
Since it's very likely that all the song addresses will have to change, will I have to change them "manually" or is there some way (or tool) that can automate the task?
