Winamp cannot play MP3 (88780078)
Hi all.
I'm using Winamp from a long time, always upgrading to the latest version without problems. Recently I get error 88780078 (Bad Directsound drivers) each time I try to play an MP3 file. Mp3 files are playing OK with Foobar and Windows Media Player, though. Also, I noticed that no devices are listed in waveout plugin. I already tried to reinstall Realtek drivers. The problem seem to be starting after installing Last.fm desktop program, but noone ever signalled any problem using Winamp. All the other post on this subject are related to sound card/directx not working, but I can use both with other audio software. Lof file from HijackThis enclosed. Thanks for any help. |
