How to use enable track updates if i use a line in?

Hello, I am a radio station that will be broadcasting using BSI Simian, and i'll be streaming using SHOUTcast, i have the broadcast part in order, but i would like to know how to enable track updates while using Simian? Do I use the linein:// format? Please get back to me as soon as you know.

I forgot to mention that I use the shoutcast dsp plugin within Winamp
