Digital play of cd's using Copah's CD Reader 1.91

Have installed CD Reader 1.91 to use Winamp to play audio cd's via digital extraction - but Winamp continues to play them analog. How do I activate this feature?

Read the readme file with CDReader. You must disable the old in_cdda.dll plug-in by renaming it to something like in_cdda.dll.off and in_cdda.cdb.off

Well, that didn't work. Kept the cd from playing at all. I have seen this advice before, and it applied to cases where there was 2 instances of each song in the song list. This was not the case here. Just won't play the cd tracks via digital extraction.
