Winamp strange things

I recently experienced a strange thing under winamp.
On some files, after a random lapse of playing (from 30seconds to several minutes), sound stops, progress cursor jumps (1/4 of complete length for each jump), until the end of the file.
If I put the cursor back to the point where the problem appears, the playing resumes, sometimesz until the end of the file, sometimes only for a lapse of time.
Since this problem happens, Ive changed lot of parts in my computer (Motherboard, processor, memory, power supply, sound card...), in fact the only original parts are hard disks and DVD player/burner (and of course the speakers).... I've completely formatted and reinstallated Windows (XP SP3), and the problem remains the same....
My winamp release is 5.541.
Do you have an idea of what can cause this problem?

I have already uninstalled and reinstalled during the complete windows reinstallation...

As I said in my original post, I'm already in 5.5 version (5.541 from 2008 august)

My configuration is:

CPU: Core 2 duo 4700
Motherboard : Asrock 4core Dual Sata II (integrated sound card)

OS: Windows XP SP3 (SP2 with automatic update to SP3)

Antivirus Avira Antivir free edition
Firewall Zone Alarm free edition
