Winamp affecting my Yahoo Invisible Status

Hi everyone. I'm new.

My primary issue is this:

I use yahoo messenger and I pretty much stay on invisible status. However, I've noticed for about a month now, I guess, that whenever I close winamp it causes my yahoo messenger invisible status to change to available.

Does anyone have any experience with this and/ or can anyone help me?

On a sidenote, whenever I use Firefox while running winamp, it takes up more processing power than it does when my firefox is closed.

I appreciate any assistance.

Thank you

^^ I sure haven't. I'm pretty simple with it. Just open it to play music. I've tried reinstalling but not uninstalling so I'm gonna follow a few of those directions and see if that fixes the problem and I'll be back.

Did a complete uninstall, rebooted and then reinstall. Main problem fixed. As for the secondary problem having to do with the resources while Firefox is open, I disabled a couple of extensions and that fixed the problem. Now Winamp plays using ZERO of my processing power.

Thank you.
