saving a file with a plugin?
hello, i have an mp3 that i want to save it to my computer with a winamp sound enhancement plug in.
i want to save it to either wave or mp3 with the plugin applied. how can i achieve this? |

Prefs > Output plugins > Diskwriter > Config
Set output directory etc. Output is to WAV. Don't use 'Single file mode'(it probably doesn't do what you first think) Don't use 'Convert to format', you will be restricted to the system codecs only, better to save as WAV and then use Winamp's 'Send to Format Converter'. Don't forget to switch back to DirectSound afterwards. UJ |

thank you very much, altought i have a problem,
the plugin is an output plugin named "Audio Burst FX", and when i select disk writer, the effect isn't being applied. is there a solution to this? |

There used to be an output stacker, but not sure what the status is nowadays or if it's still available, some legal trouble with working round DRM content.
Don't bother with Winamp in that case and just use a stand alone output recorder, there are plenty out on the web. I've been using X-Ripper(Sonetics) for years, still as good as ever. UJ |

i used "ditamars stacker" put the fx on and then out_disk, but the output file does not have the effect on it.
i tried several times. i can stand alone output recorder because i nned to the to keep its original sync. |
