Automatic System Hibernation Fails if Winamp is Loaded
Hey guys,
I have searched the forum for information regarding my issue, but have found no solution. Here are a few system details:OS: Windows Vista Business Sound Card: Creative X-Fi Platinum Screensaver: None Sleep Mode: Disabled Hybrid Sleep: Disabled Wake on LAN: Disabled Automatic Hybernate after 60 Minutes Winamp v5.55 Watch folder scanning: Off Now, as far as system hibernation goes, everything works properly UNLESS Winamp is open. There doesn't even have to be a file playing, the system will not hibernate automatically. If I manually enter hibernation mode, I have no problems. I don't know if Winamp is just keeping Windows from registering in an idle state or what, but it is running up my power bill. Please post any possible solutions or if there are any further details you need to understand my problem. Thanks for the help! Charlie |

Please attach your "List Of Plugins", and a HijackThis log in the same zip wouldn't go amiss. More than often, issues like this are caused by some old/dodgy/incompatible 3rd-party plugin. |
