SC_Trans without Transcoding
I am currently runnign SC_Trans for Windows to feed a playlist to SC_Serv. I noticed that sc_trans is re-encoding all my mp3's (as that is what it was primarily made for ofcourse).
My question: Is it possible to disable the transcoding function of sc_trans, so I can stream all mp3's in their original formats, and do use less cpu? Or is their another free tool that can stream the playlist for me? |

If you are running windows, you can use winamp to stream your music to your server.

Transcoding all the mp3's I stream is CPU intensive, so I would rather turn this option off. But as I understand you well: that's impossible?
