Please help! I am probably just being stupid or something but I am new to all this, and I have winamp installed which will play CD's and music downloaded from winam site OK, BUT every time I try to download an MP3 from MP3.com ( I havn't tried others [cos I don't know where they are]) they down load as a Realplayer file, Mpeg audio. I installed real player after winamp and set it to only have Mpeg Vidio.

So what can I do to get these to either run on winamp or download in a format winamp can play ???

Make sure in RealPlayer's options that MP3, M3U, XPL and PLS are not associated with it.

Disable RealPlayer's startcenter.

In WinAmp's preferences, in the filetypes section, make sure MP3, M3U, XPL and PLS are selected.
