Edit ID tag using Winamp?

Is it possible? How's it done, and is there any plugin for Winamp used for mass editin ID tags for MP3?

Thank you.

Mass Tagging -> Rightclick -> Send to - Auto-Tag

But I recommend you MP3Tag for mass tagging

Midifiles dont support ID tags, I believe they have an other Tagging method though, you see it always at option "view file info" So just try it out^^
FLAC, OGG, WMA etc, are of course possible to edit its info

Not in your windows explorer - you have to rightclick in winamp, its in the same menu, where "view file info" is

You cannot edit tags on .xm,.midi or .mod. Nor are these plugins really being updated, as they are mostly dead formats.

I'm trying to mass auto-tag my MP3s but this is not working for me.

I have tried doing as you suggest. I open Windows Explorer, browse to a directory with and album of MP3s, highlight all of them, right-click, and hover over Send To. However, I do not see "Auto-Tag" as an option.

Please help.

Nevermind, scratch what I said above. I figured it out.

For those who'd also like to mass auto-tag: You enqueue the MP3s you'd like to tag in winamp, select all of them in winamp, right-click, and choose "Send To," then "Auto Tag."
