Playcount not working?

Using the latest version of Winamp (5.551 x86), I notice that the playcounts for all the files in my library are showing as zero. Also, when playing files, the playcount does not increment.

I have the settings for history all checked to track the number of times tracks are played so am at a loss as to why the counters are not incrementing.

In case it makes any difference, I'm running on WindowsXP64

Which playcounts are you looking at?
The ones in Media Library -> History, or the ones in Media Library -> Local Media views?

The settings in Prefs -> History are for the History view.

The settings for Local Media views are in:
Prefs -> Media Library -> Local Media -> Options tab:

Enable 'Recently Played' in the ML
With the additional 'Wait x seconds/percent' settings.

If the problem persists, please attach your List Of Plugins

Ah-ha ... that explains it. Didn't have the option set on the local media options panel.

Right ... I'm off to bang my head against a wall now
