portable does not show zen stone

First timer here...
I am trying to transfer some music files,MP3,from my computer where they are in the Wimamp Free media libray. Following the Help directions, I opened WA, MEdial Library and scrolled down to "Portables." My player, a Zen stone, does not show up here; no device does. No subdirectory at all. So, what am I doing wrong?
I am using Vista Home Premium on an HP 3120n with 2gb ram and plenty of HD space. The protables directory says WA recognizes a ZenStone.
Thanks for help. BJMZ

Can you see the stone under windows explorer?
Try a different usb port (if you're using front, try back)

Nope, no matter which port I use, the mp3 player does not show up as being attached to a USB port. That is, no subcategory for "portables" in the WA Free dropdown menu.My thanks for your reply, though. BJMZ

If you can't do it through winamp you can do it through windows explorer. It should just show up under my computer after you plug it in. I own a Zen Stone Plus. I don't however use the library, and I use XP, so I probably can't help you much further.
