Playlist Duplicates
Something that has been annoying me a lot since I started building playlists with
is that there doesn't seem to be a way to check if a song is already in an existing playlist without actually scrolling through the list to find it (an extra big pain if it's long and unsorted). I suggest that, when trying to add a song to a media library playlist, there should be check marks next to each list that it's in. Also, there is an option to remove duplicate entries in the playlist editor, but it would be nice to have that option in the playlist manager, as well. Thanks for listening!

No, but I don't use the media library so feel free to request it be raped in whatever way you want. Doesn't affect me.

I agree
I think playlist management is one thing that is sorely lacking from the user experience.
I would also like to see better library management. There should also be a way to remove duplicates from your library. |

This has finally got to me. Was going to start a new thread, but thought I would do the right thing and search.
I will quite often use the "play similar tracks..." option, select all and add to an existing playlist. This way I can discover new songs in my library I may not have heard before. One of the things iTunes does well is confirm if you want a duplicate track added to a playlist. This should definately be a standard feature. Does it not make sense? A simple "Do you want to add duplicate track to playlist?" question and a checkbox to do the same with any other instances. |
