Add to a playlist
Sounds easy and the help file it is. But when I add a file it gets rid of the songs on the playlist. What's going on here and how do I add a file to an existing playlist please?
I have version 5.541. It was so simple in older versions, why complicate it? Or worse, hide it? |

How changed?
Hi,
Previously I could open a playlist add songs and then save the lot as the same playlist or another name if I chose such. Now the playlist can be opened no problems but when I open other files as suggested by their help file the playlist songs are dropped. They are still on the playlist but I cannot add these other songs to it. At least that's how it is (not) working with my fine fingers. Clearly I'm doing something wrong as it is a simple process and was so previously with the old skin etc. Progress is not always good. Thanks by the way. |

Oh, playlist files. So your trying to add songs to an existing playlist, correct? Once you have the songs you want in the playlist window, you can press ctrl+s to bring up the save dialog box to save the playlist file.
Now, if you tell us what skin your using and what process you mean when you say "when I open other files as suggested by their help file" (I don't know what help file your talking about), then maybe I can help, or at least understand, you better. Also, theres a newer version of winamp: 5.552. Don't know if it would help, |

Paul,
Given your ignorant and condescending approach I would not accept your advice on anything. I mentioned files in the first post so if you want to play arsehole games, go right ahead. By yourself. |

You mentioned help files, when you say playlist I think of the playlist, not a playlist file.
Maybe you should be more specific, you fucking arsehat. |

Lets calm down before things start to get more out of hand. Paul was not being condescending, he just does not fully understand your question.
It is not easy to gauge someones skill level when replying. Unfortunately when replying in simple terms it can appear to be condescending, but that is not the case. I am also a bit confused by your question. How are you adding files to the playlist? Are you using the Add (+) button? Can you provide a link to the help file you mentioned? |
