Winamp for a Mac

Hi,
I am having problems with my winamp b/c I have a Mac. When I download it, the program just comes up. There is no downloading or set up icon to click on to get it onto my computer. So when I do double click on the winamp icon to load the program my music comes up but you can't play it. Can someone please give me some info on how to fix this. Thanks!

What sort of Mac do you have?
And where exactly did you download the Winamp you have from?

I have an imac and i downloaded it from the winamp site. It worked the first time i downloaded it and for some reason it disappeared so i downloaded it again and now it won't work

Well if you downloaded it from the winamp site, and the MAC download page...remember that the page said it's only an Alpha version of the software. It can be very highly that it may have come into some conflict with system extentions or other things of that sort. The program may work but it's completely tested. I suggest you go to http://www.macast.com/ and download their player. It's made for mac and looks just like winamp.
