Ver.5.55 - I can't add music from a folder

I just downloaded the new winamp version tonight, and noticed that I am no longer able to add music from an external source, such as a folder. If I try, I get a black circle with a line through it indicating it is not allowed.

Is there an option anywhere in the program where I can turn this off? I don't like using Winamp's file locator - which is why Im asking.
