new windows opening??

Is there a setting somewhere that lets you toggle between opening new windows for every song?(Let me explain). I have a folder where all my mp3's go. When I open that folder and click on a song it opens winamp and starts to play...everything normal so far. However, when I click on another song, it opens another instance of winamp for the second song...instead of stopping the first song and opening the 2nd one in that window. When the second instance loads up I get the waveOut error:
"MMSYSTEM004 The specified device is already in use. Wait until it is free, and then try again."

This never used to happen...It used to change songs in the same window and just cut the 1st song off and start the 2nd one. Now the first one keeps playing and the second tries to load and then gives me the above error.HELP PLEASE!!!!

go to options -> preferences -> options and uncheck "allow multiple instances"

The MMSYSTEM004 error is probably caused by the fact that you have multiple instances of winamp open.
