Winamp was on overnight with soundlevel on 0.
When i turned it up in the morning it was mute.

Went to bed with winamp playing, no point putting sound volume on 0 when its muted anyway. So in the middle of the night i wake up to music..
It seems winamp doesnt like being muted for long hours, cure = play "with sound" for a while until sound comes back..
