Avatar/picture

Hi, I cannot for the life of me find where I add/edit my avatar. I have one, so I obviously used to know, but now I draw a blank.

Also, the f.a.q. explains *what* an avatar is and *that* I can add one to my signature. Howewer, there's no mention, as far as I can see, of *how* to go about adding one.

Not much help, that. Can somebody please set me straight?
