Music folder on harddrive is gone!!!!!??
Hello, I just installed Winamp 5.56
So I loaded the songs I had in a folder, from one of my drives, into a playlist. But now the folder (all songs) is no longer on the harddrive!!!??? Where did it go, and how can I restore the files back onto the harddrive? Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! |

Sounds like you have a virus or the files / the file folder is hidden. OR you deleted the files by mistake.
If those are not it, use "Spin Right". See if Spin Right can recover the files. I've used Spin Right and it recovered some of my missing files. |

The files show up in the WinAMP playlist window when "audio" is selected in the far left pane. It lists them all (4191 files!)
So they are still there, I just don't know where WinAmp put them! |

I guess the question is, where on the harddrive does the Media Library keep the actual MP3 files? I see how to find the settings, etc, but where are the actual music files??
I need to take the files out of the Media Library and put them back in a folder on drive D so I can acess the files to move to my nanos, etc. WinAmp is installed on drive C |

Winamp doesnt move the files.
If they show up in the Media Library, then right click on one of the files, and pick... Explore item folder. |
