Thanks for the awesome plugin; without it, winamp isn't nearly as useful in Windows 7.

LOL. Without this plugin, Winamp is just as useful as it was on any other OS. Just Winamp+Windows 7+this plugin, makes Winamp so much better.

the plugin looks great. unfortunately i cant install it properly. it simply doesnt appear under "plugnis" in winamp. i reinstalled it several times.

Hm... the plug-in works fine even without an aero theme... so that isn't the issue. Tried re-installing? :/ Restarting PC in case you're hibernating a lot?

yea, i installed it yesterday for the first time and have reinstalled it several times and also restarted my pc once.

One last thing to check, make sure you're not starting Winamp as admin... It has almost nothing to do with it, but still.

* Fix: Corrected several text formatting bugs, such as the shadow being sometimes one character short
* New: Added two more text formatting flags:
o %s% - Draws text shadow for containing line using selected shadow color
o %b% - The line containing this will have a darker background for the text, using the selected shadow color

Those can't be translated... they are default categories in Windows, and they are translated into the local Windows language.

Huh, what's why when I pin something and goes up with name "Pinned" (also not translated and not incl. in the lang file). I'm with US 7, don't love Bulgarian Packs :P.

Btw, released 1.10c, which saves the settings when you close the config window, instead of Winamp quitting. This fixes the saves for some people.

Btw, I had to set the Font manually, otherwise it would show just weird characters. I've set it to Sergoe UI 11 (or 12, whatever), as it was the default and I got the correct text to be shown.

right click works fine..but scrolling over the pinned winamp icon nothing appears, like wmp, nothing seems to open when i scroll over winamp. got winamp classic pro running, but doesnt work when i uninstalled, using win7pro, winamp5.56...am i forgetting to do something or is there a proper way to install this. thanks

hey, yea i have aero enabled, cause it works for wmp, and the glass snap and shake win7 features work so i believe aero is enabled...its a great plugin, would like to make it work somehow

bkap Verify if the thumbnail is enabled.
"Enable custom Aero peek thumbnail" on the Options tab int the plug-in config. If it doesn't work, can you tell me what you see in that peek window?

• Volume can be controlled using mouse wheel scroll when hovering over the Winamp icon on the taskbar.
• Album art is taken directly from Winamp, so everything that is supported there, is used as aero peek background.
• Longer text lines will scroll on the aero peek window.
• Added text formatting flag: %d% to prevent that specific line from scrolling, even if it's longer than the width of the thumbnail window.
• Added "Apply" button to immediately see the effects of the settings.
• Some albums that had characters that are not allowed to be in a file name weren't loaded. It's fixed now.
• 2 new lines in the translation file

thanks for all the help...decided to do a clean install, and download a new file from winamp.com, my last install was from a setup file i backed up on my external harddrive when i transferred from vista to 7...it works great, thanks!!

Centering the text is not working properly in version 1.11. Text is somewhat to the right.

1.11 somehow makes Winamp stutter/micro freeze on switching to next song. 1.10 hasn't that problem. Perhaps it's related to new sound control implementation

Umm... what do you mean? It's centered here... Do you maybe have some other text formatting flags? Or do you have the iconic background enabled?

Btw, I forgot to add to the changelog:

Yes, iconic background enabled. Disabling it solved the problem. But... I had it enabled in 1.10. Why is 1.11 behaving like this?

Nice,very nice in XP i used docked toolbar,maybe now i can change.....2 things:
1-When i open winamp now i have 2 icons on the bar while if i opne firefox (or anything alese) i still have the same icon....i don't like to have 2 winamp icons on the bar......without the plugin i had only one. (i don't use the icon in the tray)
2-It's a request (not important):in options i activated "show progressbar....".If i click on it i open the main window but it should be nice to be able to search in the file clicking on the progressbar.
