Error: ?ndestring_release@@YAXPA_W@Z in nde.dll

Hello,

Since installing 5.57 on my Windows 7 x64 machine, I get this error during launch (it is in Dutch, but I'll try to translate):

ml_pmp_window: winamp.exe - access point not found
can't find access point for procedure ?ndestring_release@@YAXPA_W@Z in DLL-file nde.dll.

WinAmp loads after clicking OK, so I'm not sure what is affected by this error.

Hmm, strange...

Have you maybe got more than one installation of Winamp?

(eg. 5.57F, 5.57Beta, 5.56, etc, installed in different folders)

Not sure how you've ended up with an older version of Winamp\Plugins\ml_pmp.dll

All the default ml_*.dll plugins are deleted first by the installer, before we install anything.

You might have got that error message if there was an older version of gen_orgler.dll present, because alas, we forgot to add that to the list of files to delete prior to installation (which means that if you unchecked Orgler in the installer options then the old version from 5.56 will still be there, hence the error):
http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?threadid=315429

But your error message specifically relates to ml_pmp
which is the portable media player support plugin loader.

Other default plugins/components which use that function are winamp\system\auth.w5s, winamp\plugins\gen_orgler, in_cdda, ml_local, ml_history, ml_bookmarks, maybe more...

Please attach your "list of plugins"
