Winamp crashes during ripping

I have a newly purchased copy of Winamp Pro. Every once in a while (about one in ten disks), the application crashes. It matters not whether the disk is an original music CD, or one I copied to a CD-R. It is disk specific, because when a disk crashes, I cannot rip that particular CD on Winamp. CDex has no issues at all ripping the problems disks.
The crash will occur between track ripping. i.e. it will complete ripping a track, then crash while starting to rip the next track.

Here are the particulars, and also attached is a copy on the plugins list.

What's going on?

Motherboard: ASUS A8V Deluxe
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Winchester 1 Ghz ESB Socket 939
1 GB (2x512) DDR SDRAM
Direct X 9.06
Winam Pro v 5.56
CD/DVD drive: Toshiba SDR5372

From the error message:

Same problem here, with the crash occurring between track ripping. Winamp version 5.5.6.2512.
I`ll try to reinstall my windows, maybe there is a problem with my files.

I have upgrade to the newest version, 5.571 and still have the same problem. Is this the correct place to get a reply from Winamp Technical?
