Whenever I try to play CDs through Winamp, the output will only come through my front two speakers and my subwoofer. I was wondering why it will not play through my back two speakers as it will on other media players?

1. make sure output plugin is set to directsound. configure the plugin to map through your soundcard's directsound drivers.

2. update your directx if it is old. you can download directx from this url: http://www.microsoft.com/directx/hom...ds/default.asp

3. update your soundcard drivers.
