hi out there,
i 'd like to report a missing feature that i consider a bug. winamp does not support the option sort-on-track-number. many classiscal master pieces as well as full album rips have the tracknumbers stored in the mp3tag (either v1 or v2). in case one listens to a album that is supposed to be listened in order (a live album for instance), one has to sort them by hand! could this option be implemented in the brand new winamp3? jasper |

In winamp, if you go to OPTIONS -> PREFERENCES -> INPUT -> "Nullsoft MPEG Audio Decoder" -> CONFIGURE -> Title, put a %a at the start of the "Title Formatting" box. This displayse the track numbers before the title in the playlist. Now, when you sort the list by title, your mp3s are sorted by their track numbers.

And after that you may want to disable "show numbers in playlist" in the Display prefs of Winamp so that the number is only shown once instead of twice.
