Server Display on My NON-php enabled site?

I need some simple embed code that i can put on my site. the site does NOT have php that I have access to. It can handle simple HTML embed code, and possibly a javascript solution.

The specifics of what i need are as follows:

Needs to be small, no more than 170 pixels wide

Needs to NOT be a player, I do not want it playing any music

Needs to show what track is playing from my shoutcast stream currently, and possibly the last track before that, but not necessary on that point

basically, i just want it to spy on my server and report the details to my site users so they can decide if they wish to listen. It can be a flash solution, or whatever, but i need to have code to cut and paste. and it needs to just work.

I'm fairly certain that i've missed the answer for this solution somewhere buried deep in this boards search function. somewhere where all of you long time forums users over here will clearly like to come tell me how i should not open duplicate threads, and how i should search before posting, and that's fine, you're probably right, and i'm probably an idiot for asking the question in the first place. in any case, if it's already answered on here somewhere, please link me.

Ok, So the best solution would be to use someone elses server that does have a AJAX enabled. Have it so it writes the metadata to a notepad as a regular text file. Basically make the script on the server that can support scripts, have it write the text file onto a nice little background, and when your webpage opens, it can pull the herfed little image with the metadata written text up onto your site.

Otherwise you might be screwed.

You might try the iplaying script that iplaying offers if your looking for someone that has allready created this, but for the cost your going to pay them monthly, you might as well create the script and host it yourself?
