Winamp does not create correct playlists with cyryllic pathnames when syncing.

Hello everyone, hope I can find some help here.. When I sync my nexus one with winamp it does transfer all songs but creates currupted playlist:
If in playlist Cyrillic letters are present in path-name they get replaced with "?". However folder structure that winamp creates contains correct symbols. Thus playlist does not work.
Please help. Here is sample of playlist.
Please help!

The problem is clear, I see on your picture, that you have a m3u playlist. m3u playlists are ANSI only, you need to use the m3u8 playlist format instead, which can handle Unicode.

Please post more infos about your player and tell me and what excatly you did in Winamp to transfer the files. E.g. which portable plug-in in Winamp you're using.
Best is, if you post a list of your installed plugins as well.

I thought that ansi supports cyryllic.. Guess Im wrong. Can winamp create m3u8 format when syncing to android? Im using portable plugin 1.26 and player is v. 5.57. Are there other plugins for syncing to android?
Thank you!

Im using just stock fresh install. of 5.57 winamp.
Thank you!

I've merged your 2 postings. Please use the button in future to add additional infos to your posting.

What's the complete name of the plugin, you're using? Best is, you post a list of your installed plugins, like I was asking for in my posting above.

Winamp can handle and create m3u8 playlist files, but since I don't know, what portable plugin you're using, I cannot help you for now.

I'm a little bit lost, to be honest.

If your portable media player only saves files in m3u format, then Winamp cannot import any unicode playlist. I guess most players only use the standard m3u or an own, proprietary playlist format. But since of the lack of hardware, I cannot verify it on my system, how you player handles playlist files..

The only workaround would be manually creating additional m3u8 playlists in Winamp. That's lame, I know, I'm really sorry. Hopefully someone else can give you a better answer.
