Problem after version 2.65

Here is the jist of my problem. Whenever I load songs into the playlist by either using enqeue in or add dir it doesn't seem to load them properly. For one, it takes about three times longer for the songs to load (ex: show the time of the song), and also it will not load any songs not viewable in the playlist. Therefore I have to scroll down through all the songs to get them to load and show all the length of the song. Not only can this get sorta time comsuming when loading a lot of songs but this problem was never around in versions 2.65 and prior.

This has been experienced with all versions after 2.65 and always on a fresh install with either Win98 SE or Win Millenium. I also do not use any plugins whatsoever.

Probably something to do with your settings in: Prefs (Ctrl+P) -> Options
Try changing them to:
Read Titles on: Load (sounds like you've got it on "Display")
Sort Files on Load : uncheck?

The only other settings I can think of, if these are all MP3 files, are in:
Prefs -> Input -> MPEG Audio Decoder -> config -> Title tab.
