playlist problem
I had made a playlist, which is very long i might add, and it worked about once.
Everytime i try to play it, it just quickly skims through each song, not playing any. Each song is still on my usb drive, as is the playlist. I really have no clue why it never works and I was wondering if i actually have to go through 177 songs to put them back on a new list. Thanks. |

It depends, if you are using relative or absolute pathes in your playlist files. If it's an a USB device you disconnect and plug it in again, probably the drive letter changes. Result is that the paths in your playlist file are no longer correct.
Winamp only skips files, if there was no decoder found, which can play the file or if it cannot find a valid file for playback. Changing your playlist to relative paths should fix it.
