for your issue you will have to delete a file on the winamp player itself (winamp.ini or something similar it should be the only ini file on the player) to have winamp reread the player
most likely it is stored (at least on my 4g it is) player drive letter:\iPod_Control\iTunes
this will only work if you are in manually manage media mode

there is no winamp.ini file in my ipod... or anything that doesn't belong to itunes...
