Winamp freezes on playing wma streams

I've only noticed now that Winamp can't play WMA streams anymore. Upon double-clicking one in the playlist, it says "connecting", never starts playing, and any subsequent action results in application freezing.
My version is 5.58. I don't know when this occurred as I wasn't using WM streams in a while, but it was OK a few months ago when I did a clean install.
What should I do?

Could you provide a link to an example wma stream, which freezes your Winamp?

Additionally post a complete list of your installed plugins

Examples of such streams are:

(which expands into 10 items upon double-clicking, and when I double-click the first one to play, it's over).

(also, other mms:// streams I have in my bookmarks)

As for plugins, nothing has changed since some time ago when I did a clean install (and all streams were still playing). Here's the full list:

Um, there was my reply here with plugins and other info -- any idea where it went? I know it didn't show up right away, as I tried to post it again and it said it was a "duplicate of a previous post".

Maybe the spam protection was hiding your thread and a mod had to publish it.

As for your issue, the stream freezes my Winamp as well. Will do some research in the evening and post back here.

I can get Klassik Radio if I copy the the playlist URL and paste it in Winamp's Open URL box, however the streams keep buffering. Try their MP3 streams...

The second URL (Radio Uno ???) does not work in Winamp or WMP. However doing some looking around, I found MP3 streams for that station also...

Can we try it in the other direction... can someone please post a wma (and/or mms://) stream that is confirmed to work, and I'll try to run it in my Winamp. If they work on my side, it'll mean that the streams I have are outdated (and/or Winamp doesn't know when to quit trying to stream them).

These are just online files, not broadcasts, so may not suit your needs.

*** You'll need Tara for the Real Media formats, bomono is a mono test stream.

The first link (.asx playlist) plays ok for me.
The first few stream url's in the playlist play ok, but keep continuously buffering
and most of the others say 'service unavailable'.

The 2nd example stream url is dead.
