No video.

Well heres the thing. When i try to watch videos with winamp, there's only the sound of the video and not the actual video. VLC fails at playing the videos entirely, so i resorted to Winamp, and now i can only hear the sound from the video. Is there any way to fix this?

Sorry, but... is there a less confusing answer page?

If it helps any, the movies I've been trying, and failing, to watch are in .avi format.

Hmm....

I assume you're using the free version of Winamp, not Winamp Pro, yes?
What's your Windows OS?

Have you installed ffdshow yet?
(just use the default installation options)

If yes, and the problem persists, then I will require more information before I can help you.

1. A MediaInfo log for one of the problem AVI's
2. a dxdiag log
3. A list of plugins log

(see link in first post for details/instructions)
