Open the file and press in the Winamp warning message, 'Yes'.

You can also download the skin and install it via double click.

But note, 'Modern skin support' must be installed, otherwise you cannot open any modern skin. If you're not sure, if it's installed, run the Full or Pro Winamp installer again and maike sure, that modern skin support is checked.

The Modern Skin support option can be found in the Choose Components section (page/window 4) of the installer under the User Interface Extensions branch...

The screenshot is from an older version of Winamp, however it mostly be the same for 5.581 for the Modern Skin Support option.

It does not matter, you just need to have 'Modern Skin Support' check-marked. The installer will change to Custom if you choose to uncheck one or more if the Choose Components options. That is the only difference between Full or Custom.

If you don't see 'Modern Skin Support' as one of the options, then that means you have downloaded the Lite package of Winamp. So, try downloading the Standard (AKA Full) package of Winamp. The Pro package is not needed for modern skin support. The Standard edition will do just fine.

Sorry for the late reply, I have been on vacation for past week.

Please provide Winamp & system specifications, the most important is the list of plugins.
