DSP/Effect not loading/working "stereo channel swap"
I uninstalled and reinstalled winamp to see if it will fix the problem, with no luck.
I am trying to load "justin- stereo channel swap" that comes with the software. My audio is reversed but this will not load or work nor will the DSP/Effects that I have downloaded anyone know why this is happening? I tested some of the other ones that came with the software and they work "justin-loop sampler" "justin-octave down" but when I try to load the stereo channel swap it doesn't work, it wont invert the audio. Also tried to download a DSP called Stereo Swapper v 1.1 and that doesn't invert the sound as well, even though there are comments saying it works. |

I have tried 3 dsp plugins for winamp and none of them seem to work, if anyone has any ideas on free software that will invert the sound (left channel to right, right to left) or can help me get the DSP to work in winamp. Other dsp work for some reason dsp that swap audio do not seem to work?

Just had a look at the DSP script and the only fail I can see is if Winamp is seeing the stream as other than 2 channel.

Possibly it is in 5.1, I am not sure I do not know how to check on winamp, How do I change winamp to 2 channel? Then I can try the dsp's again.

Dunno if this will work, but you could enable 'Force Mono' under Preferences > Playback.
Or try disabling 'Allow Suround Sound'. The reason why I asked for the 24-Bit option before was, that many DSP plugins have trouble, when it is enabled. Not sure 5.1 would make a difference, as I would think this is derived after the sound info has been drawn from the input buffer.
It's what winamp sees going into the buffer that determines the number of channels I think. UJ |

Yeah I checked the sound settings and it's only showing a left and right speaker when I test it. It's weird cause only seems like the invert audio dsp's do not work.
