Turd > Winamp
Hello,
I have been using Winamp for at least the past decade and have had relatively few issues along the way...until now. It all began a few days ago when all of my local media went blank/grey. I quickly found out through simple a Google search that this is a relatively common UNSOLVED ISSUE, and has been since 2008. After reading up on it a bit, I realized the only true fix was to start from scratch. Whatever, I thought, as I've dealt with that situation in the past. Reinstalling did not work, so I deleted all of Winamp's files and everything associated with it. I reinstalled the program again, tinkered with the preferences until I thought I was ready to use the software again. FAIL. Selecting Local Media off to the left and I am unable to highlight any text associated with the songs or files I want to play. You know, that blue highlight that is supposed to surround text just as it does with every other software out there? Weird thing is, I somehow managed to get two random songs highlighted, but was unable to remove the highlight, even if I double clicked a random song nearby to play. If I right click and select all, I am unable to remove the highlights at all, and am currently sitting here with a blue highlight themed Winamp. Sincerely, Annoyed. |
