erroneous title bar bug at launch
Hi
Ever since a certain upgrade I think, every time WAmp launches I get a dark brown or black title bar in the middle of the screen. Looks like a classic title bar. It has no buttons and is sticky until I move a window, any window over it. When I release the mouse button it disappears. Also it goes away when I manually refresh the desktop. I hate having to move a window over this title bar or refresh the desktop every time I start WAmp to remove it. It's a bug. Sorry if I didn't find the answer somewhere else here but this is my first problem I've had with WAmp in years. XP SP2 WA v558 Last edited by mjimih; 8th October 2010 at 15:06. That can be caused by a desktop enhancer or screen manager (examples: YzShadow here or here | ShoveIt or nView). Are you using some type of a desktop enhancer or screen manager application? Either add Winamp to the apps's exclude list (if there is one) or disable the app.

fixed! nView
my nvidia geforce 6150-LE I tried any "desktop management" or direct access settings i thought would help first. When I got to the video card settings "geforce 6150-LE>Display mode timing>enable doublescan for lower resolution modes", IT DID THE TRICK!
1440 x 900 32bit thanks! Mark |
